Terms and Conditions
Effective: September 21, 2026
These Terms govern access to and use of the EPIRUO Labs website, account services, apparel, and scientific research materials. By using the site, creating an account, submitting research-access information, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated by reference below.
1. Business and scope
EPIRUO LLC, doing business as EPIRUO Labs ("EPIRUO," "we," "us," or "our"), operates this website and related ecommerce services. These Terms apply to visitors, account holders, research purchasers, and apparel customers.
2. Age and eligibility
You must be at least 21 years old to access or purchase scientific research materials. Research-material purchases are limited to qualified purchasers acting for legitimate laboratory, analytical, educational, commercial, institutional, biotechnology, life-sciences, or other lawful scientific-research purposes.
We may request information reasonably necessary to evaluate age, identity, researcher type, organization, purchasing purpose, or other eligibility criteria. EPIRUO may decline or restrict access when requested information is incomplete, inconsistent, or indicates a nonresearch purpose.
3. Research-use restriction
All scientific research materials are supplied strictly for in vitro laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
Research materials are not offered as drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, medical devices, or veterinary products and may not be purchased, promoted, prepared, distributed, or used for human or animal administration, personal use, self-experimentation, diagnosis, treatment, cure, mitigation, or prevention of disease.
The Research Use & Legal Information section below is incorporated into these Terms.
4. Accounts, credentials, and electronic attestations
You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep account credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless prohibited by law.
Electronic acknowledgements, checkboxes, attestations, and typed signatures submitted through the website are intended to serve as binding representations of the information and agreements stated alongside them. You may not create an account or submit an order using false identity, qualification, affiliation, age, or research-purpose information.
5. Product information and analytical documentation
Product descriptions, molecular references, batch information, Certificates of Analysis, purity results, identity data, net-content results, and other analytical documentation are provided for scientific and commercial reference. Analytical documentation describes the tested sample or identified batch and does not constitute approval, authorization, or a representation of suitability for human or veterinary use.
Images, packaging, batch numbers, availability, specifications, and documentation may be updated as inventory changes. We make reasonable efforts to present accurate information but reserve the right to correct typographical, product-listing, pricing, or documentation errors.
6. Orders and acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase and does not obligate EPIRUO to fulfill it. We may accept, decline, limit, hold, or cancel an order for inventory, verification, compliance, suspected misuse, fraud-prevention, payment, address, pricing, technical, legal, or other legitimate business reasons.
An automated order confirmation confirms receipt of the order request and does not guarantee acceptance or shipment. If we cancel an order after payment has been captured, any amount due back will be handled according to the applicable payment method and posted refund policy.
7. Pricing, payment, taxes, and errors
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, protection fees, discounts, and other disclosed charges are shown before order submission when available.
Payment processing is subject to the terms and authorization requirements of the selected payment provider. EPIRUO may correct obvious pricing or product-listing errors and may cancel an affected order when a material error is discovered before fulfillment.
8. Shipping, delivery, refunds, and cancellations
Shipping, delivery, risk-of-loss procedures, cancellation rights, and refund eligibility are governed by the Shipping Policy, Refund Policy, and Cancellation Policy below, each incorporated into these Terms.
Apparel or print-on-demand merchandise may be fulfilled separately from research-material orders and may arrive in separate shipments.
9. Promotions, credits, and EPIRUO Coins
Discount codes, promotional pricing, shipping incentives, credits, EPIRUO Coins, and special offers are governed by the specific offer terms and the Promotion Terms. Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional value has no cash value, may be limited to eligible merchandise, and may be reversed when an underlying transaction is refunded, cancelled, disputed, or found ineligible.
10. Apparel and branded merchandise
Apparel and other branded merchandise are consumer merchandise and are separate from EPIRUO research materials. Purchasing apparel does not confer research eligibility and does not create authorization to purchase restricted research materials.
11. Prohibited conduct
You may not use the website or services to:
- misrepresent identity, age, organization, qualifications, or research purpose;
- circumvent gateway, account, checkout, verification, payment, or security controls;
- purchase research materials for human, veterinary, personal, or other prohibited use;
- engage in fraud, unauthorized payment activity, chargeback abuse, or unlawful conduct;
- interfere with site operation, probe security controls, introduce malicious code, or access data without authorization;
- scrape protected account information or use automated systems in a manner that materially burdens the site; or
- infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
12. Intellectual property and third-party references
EPIRUO names, logos, site design, original text, graphics, and other EPIRUO-owned content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except as permitted by law, you may not reproduce or commercially exploit EPIRUO-owned content without permission.
Third-party names, trademarks, chemical names, material identifiers, scientific references, and research terminology may be used for identification or informational purposes only. Reference to a third party does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, authorization, or endorsement. Third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners.
13. No medical advice
Nothing on the website constitutes medical, veterinary, diagnostic, prescribing, dosing, treatment, or patient-care advice. EPIRUO does not provide instructions for administering research materials to humans or animals.
14. Website availability and third-party services
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue website features, products, accounts, or services at any time, subject to applicable law. The site may rely on third-party services including hosting, ecommerce, payment, fraud-prevention, email, shipping, analytics, identity/security, and communications providers. Their services may be subject to separate terms and availability.
15. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website, content, services, and research materials are provided on an "as available" basis except for any express written warranty specifically stated by EPIRUO. We do not warrant uninterrupted site operation or that every product, document, or service will remain available.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EPIRUO and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to use of the website, research materials, merchandise, or services.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability or legal rights that cannot lawfully be limited or waived.
17. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the site or products, your material breach of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights. This provision does not apply where prohibited by law.
18. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information are described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
19. SMS/Text Messaging
If you voluntarily opt in to SMS/text messages from EPIRUO LLC, operating as EPIRUO Labs, you agree to receive messages at the mobile number you provide. Messages may include account notifications, verification messages, order confirmations, shipping and delivery updates, order-status notices, and customer-service communications.
SMS participation is optional and is not a condition of creating an account or making a purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP at any time to opt out of SMS messages. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact office@epiruo.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Information concerning the collection, use, and protection of mobile information and SMS consent is described in our Privacy Policy.
20. Account suspension and termination
EPIRUO may suspend or terminate access to research purchasing, an account, or other services when reasonably necessary to address suspected misuse, fraud, security concerns, nonresearch purchasing, policy violations, legal obligations, or inaccurate eligibility information. Where appropriate, pending orders may also be reviewed, held, or cancelled.
21. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law must apply.
22. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms prospectively by posting a revised version and effective date. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law. Material changes affecting existing transactions will not retroactively eliminate rights that have already accrued under applicable law.
23. Severability and entire agreement
If a provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law. These Terms together with the policies expressly incorporated by reference constitute the agreement governing use of the website and transactions covered by them, except for any separate written agreement signed by EPIRUO.
Research Use & Legal Information
Disclaimer version 2026-10-02 · effective October 2, 2026
All research materials are supplied strictly for in vitro laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
EPIRUO Labs supplies scientific research materials for legitimate laboratory, analytical, educational, commercial, and institutional research purposes. Research materials are not offered as drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, medical devices, or veterinary products.
In-Vitro Research Use Only
All lyophilized research materials offered by EPIRUO Labs are supplied exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research. They are not intended for human or veterinary use, and they are not drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or medical devices.
What "In Vitro" Means
In-vitro research (from the Latin "in glass") means experimental or analytical work conducted outside a living human or animal organism, in an appropriate laboratory environment such as controlled laboratory vessels, cell or tissue cultures, assays, analytical instruments, or other appropriate research settings. In-vitro research does not include introducing a material into a living human or animal in any way.
Use Restrictions
EPIRUO research materials must not be injected, ingested, inhaled, implanted, applied to the skin or mucous membranes, or otherwise introduced into a human or animal body. They may not be used for diagnosis, treatment, cure, mitigation, or prevention of any disease or condition, or for personal, household, or self-experimentation use.
Why Use Outside In-Vitro Research Is Prohibited
These materials are not manufactured, supplied, labeled, or evaluated as finished products for human or veterinary administration. Their safety, stability, sterility, and suitability for administration have not been established. Use outside the stated in-vitro research purpose may create serious and unpredictable risks, including:
- contamination, including microbial contamination or bacterial endotoxins;
- infection;
- allergic or other immune reactions, which can be severe, including anaphylaxis (anaphylactic shock);
- toxicity or organ injury;
- unintended or unknown biological effects; and
- serious injury or death.
Individual vials may also differ in identity, purity, strength, or contaminant content in ways that a Certificate of Analysis cannot rule out (see COA Limitations).
Certificate of Analysis (COA) Limitations
Third-party analytical testing and the COAs published on this website are subject to the following limitations:
- Each COA reports results only for the specific vial(s) or sample(s) submitted to the identified laboratory.
- Unless a COA expressly states otherwise, the other vials in the same lot or batch, including the vial(s) you receive, have not been individually tested.
- A COA is not a guarantee that every vial will produce identical analytical results. Identity, purity, net content/strength, sterility, endotoxins, heavy metals, or other characteristics may differ in vials that were not tested.
- Results apply only to the tests actually performed and are subject to the limitations and detection limits of the laboratory methods used.
- If a test does not appear on the COA, it was not performed. The absence of a reported contaminant or characteristic does not mean it was tested for or is absent.
- Testing reduces uncertainty but does not establish that every individual unit is identical to the tested sample, and it does not evaluate attributes outside the scope or detection capability of the tests performed.
- A COA does not establish that any material is safe or suitable for human or veterinary use.
- The purchaser/researcher is responsible for determining and performing any additional verification or testing of all products purchased that is appropriate for the intended in-vitro research application, before use.
Checkout Research Use Certification
Orders that include research materials require the purchaser to accept the research use certification and sign it by typing their full legal name. The signed certification is retained with the order record. The certification text is shown in full at checkout.
Per-Order Warning and Risk Acknowledgment
At checkout, a warning is shown with the name of every research material in the order filled in, and the purchaser must separately check a risk acknowledgment. Both are included in the signed record.
In case of accidental exposure (for example, a needle-stick, contact with the eyes or broken skin, or inhalation), or if anyone shows signs of an allergic reaction, call 911 or seek emergency medical care immediately.
Qualified Research Access
Access to EPIRUO Labs research materials is intended for qualified research purchasers acting for legitimate laboratory, analytical, educational, commercial, or institutional research purposes.
- The purchaser must be at least 21 years of age.
- The purchase must be for legitimate laboratory or in-vitro research.
- Research materials may not be used in humans or animals.
- The purchaser must provide accurate identity, organization or researcher-type, research-field, and account information when requested.
- The purchaser must agree to the applicable EPIRUO research-use terms and checkout acknowledgements.
EPIRUO may request additional information concerning purchaser qualifications or intended research purpose and may decline, limit, hold, or cancel access or orders when appropriate.
Prohibited Uses
EPIRUO research materials may not be purchased, promoted, prepared, distributed, or used for:
- human or veterinary administration;
- personal, household, or self-experimentation use;
- diagnosis, treatment, cure, mitigation, or prevention of any disease or medical condition;
- use as a drug, food, dietary supplement, cosmetic, medical device, or veterinary product;
- resale or distribution represented as intended for human or veterinary use; or
- any unlawful purpose.
Purchasers are responsible for ensuring that acquisition, possession, handling, storage, transport, research activity, recordkeeping, and disposal comply with all laws, regulations, institutional requirements, and laboratory standards applicable to them.
No Medical Advice or Human-Use Instructions
Information on this website is provided for research-product identification, documentation, analytical reference, and general scientific information. EPIRUO Labs does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, human or veterinary dosing instructions, administration protocols, or instructions for preparing research materials for human or veterinary use.
Nothing on this website should be interpreted as recommending, encouraging, or endorsing human or veterinary use of any research material.
Product Information and Certificates of Analysis
Where available, EPIRUO Labs publishes Certificates of Analysis and other laboratory results for sample vials submitted to independent third-party laboratories, to assist qualified researchers in evaluating research materials. These results are subject to the COA Limitations above: they describe only the vial(s) actually tested, and they do not constitute approval, authorization, endorsement, or a representation that a research material is safe or suitable for human or veterinary administration.
Researcher Responsibility
Qualified researchers are responsible for determining whether a research material is appropriate for their particular laboratory application and for establishing appropriate experimental procedures, controls, handling practices, protective measures, storage conditions, documentation, and disposal procedures. Researchers should independently evaluate available scientific and analytical information before conducting research.
No FDA Approval Representation
Unless expressly stated otherwise, research materials offered through EPIRUO Labs have not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for human or veterinary use. Availability of a research material through this website should not be interpreted as FDA approval, authorization, endorsement, or recognition of the material for therapeutic use.
Product Names, Scientific References, and Intellectual Property
Product names, chemical identifiers, research designations, molecular references, and other scientific terminology may be used solely to identify materials or distinguish research products. Reference to a third-party name, trademark, material, technology, or research subject does not imply affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from that third party. Third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Order Review, Refusal, and Account Access
EPIRUO Labs reserves the right to review, decline, limit, hold, or cancel research access or orders when information indicates that a research material may be sought for an unauthorized, nonresearch, fraudulent, or unlawful purpose.
Providing false or misleading information concerning purchaser identity, age, qualifications, affiliation, or intended research purpose may result in cancellation of an order or termination of research-account access.
Purchaser Acknowledgment
By accessing the Research Materials section or purchasing research materials from EPIRUO Labs, the purchaser acknowledges that they have read and understood these restrictions and agrees that research materials will be acquired and used solely for legitimate research purposes consistent with these terms.
Shipping Policy
Effective: September 21, 2026
U.S. fulfillment
EPIRUO currently fulfills eligible orders to supported U.S. destinations. Orders may be held for account, payment, address, or research-eligibility verification before release.
Processing and dispatch
Eligible in-stock orders received before 12:00 PM Central may qualify for same-day dispatch on business days. This is a processing target, not a guarantee. Backordered, verification-pending, weather-affected, high-risk, or carrier-restricted orders may require additional time.
EPI Lab Gear and separate fulfillment
EPI Lab Gear apparel and other print-on-demand merchandise is produced and fulfilled separately from scientific research materials. Lab Gear ships in its own package, has its own shipping charge shown at checkout, may have different processing and transit times, and may generate separate tracking information.
Service levels
When offered at checkout, Standard Shipping generally targets approximately 5–7 business days, Priority approximately 3 business days, and Expedited approximately 2 business days after carrier acceptance. Carrier transit times are estimates and are not guaranteed by EPIRUO.
Free shipping
Free standard shipping applies to research vials only, when the merchandise subtotal meets the currently displayed qualifying threshold. EPI Lab Gear always ships separately at its own shipping rate. Taxes, shipping protection, and other charges do not count toward the threshold unless stated otherwise.
Tracking and delivery
Tracking is provided when available. Delivery scans, carrier delays, weather events, address errors, access restrictions, and other carrier conditions can affect delivery. Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate deliverable address.
Shipping protection
Optional Shipping Protection may be added at checkout for a flat fee shown before the order is submitted. It covers the research vials in the order; EPI Lab Gear is not covered. If a protected package is lost in transit, stolen after carrier-confirmed delivery, or arrives damaged, EPIRUO will send one replacement shipment of the affected research vials at no additional charge after the claim is reviewed.
To make a protection claim, contact EPIRUO within 24 hours of the recorded delivery time for missing or damaged packages, or promptly after the carrier reports a loss or delivery exception, with the order number and photographs of any damage, the package, and the shipping label. Protection does not cover an incorrect or incomplete address entered by the purchaser, refused or unclaimed packages, or packages held for verification.
Unprotected shipments and shipping issues
For orders without Shipping Protection, packages confirmed lost in transit are reviewed under the Refund Policy and any applicable carrier claim. Packages the carrier marks as delivered are not eligible for replacement without Shipping Protection. For damaged, missing, or materially delayed shipments, contact EPIRUO promptly with the order number, photographs where applicable, and any carrier documentation so the issue can be reviewed.
Refund Policy
Effective: September 21, 2026
All sales are final. Returns are not accepted except when expressly authorized by EPIRUO. Approved claims are generally resolved by replacement or store credit, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Resolution by store credit or replacement
EPIRUO does not provide cash or card refunds for completed customer purchases, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Because research materials can be affected by storage, handling, contamination, and chain-of-custody conditions after shipment, returned merchandise cannot be accepted back into inventory.
If EPIRUO approves a claim involving an incorrect item, visible shipping damage, a materially defective product, or a package confirmed lost in transit, EPIRUO may resolve the affected item through a replacement shipment or EPIRUO store credit equal to the approved value. Store credit is issued to the purchasing account, is not transferable, and has no cash-redemption value.
Claim approval, the form of resolution, and the amount of any credit or replacement are determined by EPIRUO after review of the order record, supporting documentation, carrier information, and the circumstances of the claim.
Damaged, incorrect, defective, or lost orders
Inspect each shipment promptly after delivery. To help us investigate a claim promptly, contact EPIRUO within 24 hours of the recorded delivery time whenever reasonably possible. Delayed notice may affect EPIRUO's ability to verify shipping damage or other delivery-related issues. Claims for packages believed to be lost in transit should be submitted promptly after the carrier status indicates a loss, delivery exception, or other qualifying event.
Documentation may include clear photographs of the product, vial or packaging, outer shipping container, shipping label, packing slip, lot or batch information, and the specific damage or discrepancy. EPIRUO may also request carrier documentation or other information reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim. Claims that cannot be reasonably verified may be denied.
When a claim is approved, the available remedy is limited to reshipment or store credit unless a different remedy is required by law.
Items and circumstances not eligible for return or monetary refund
Once an order has shipped, EPIRUO does not accept product returns or exchanges for sanitary, quality-control, handling, storage, and research-integrity reasons. This includes, without limitation:
- opened, used, altered, punctured, mixed, prepared, or tampered products;
- products sent back without prior written claim authorization;
- claims lacking the requested photos, packaging, label, or other supporting documentation;
- buyer remorse, preference changes, duplicate purchases, or accidental ordering;
- carrier delays or service interruptions outside EPIRUO's reasonable control;
- shipments sent to an incomplete or incorrect address supplied by the purchaser;
- packages refused, abandoned, or returned to sender without prior authorization; and
- issues caused by storage, handling, transport, or use after delivery.
Authorized return shipments
Do not send products back unless EPIRUO has provided prior written authorization. If EPIRUO specifically instructs you to return an item for claim review, disposal, carrier recovery, or another approved purpose, contact office@epiruo.com and follow the return instructions provided by EPIRUO.
When a return is authorized, EPIRUO will provide the applicable return address and shipping instructions directly to the purchaser. Include the order number with any authorized shipment. Sending an item without prior authorization does not create a right to a refund or exchange and does not alter the final-sale terms above.
Final-sale acknowledgement
By completing checkout, the purchaser acknowledges that the order is a final sale and that EPIRUO's voluntary post-purchase remedies are limited to approved store credit or replacement as described above. Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.
Cancellation Policy
Effective: September 21, 2026
Before fulfillment
Cancellation requests should be submitted as soon as possible. If an order has not entered fulfillment, EPIRUO will make a reasonable effort to cancel it. If EPIRUO approves a cancellation before fulfillment and payment has already been captured, the applicable amount will be refunded or voided to the original payment method as appropriate.
After fulfillment or shipment
Once an order has been packed, transferred to a carrier, assigned tracking, or otherwise entered irreversible fulfillment, cancellation may no longer be available. Any later issue is handled under the Shipping and Refund Policies.
Verification or compliance cancellations
EPIRUO may cancel or hold an order when required for account verification, fraud prevention, payment review, inventory correction, regulatory compliance, suspected misuse, or other legitimate business reasons. If payment has been captured for an order EPIRUO cancels, the eligible amount will be refunded or voided as appropriate.
